Comm. 468: NONPROFCI~ GRANT REVIEW PROCESS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2004-2005
From Human Services and Economic Development Committee (HS&EDC) ('hair
Fred Holschuh, M.U., dated ,lanuary 21, 2004, apprising Councilmembers, applicant
nonprofit agencies and the public of the upcoming grant review process undertaken
by the HS&EDC. States that copies of signed and eligible applications received by
the Department of Finance will be forwarded to all Councilmembers. Supporting
documents will be maintained by the Department of Finance, but shall be available
for inspection. Publicly noticed site visits/interviews with eligible nonprofit
applicants will be held on 'T'uesday, March 9, 2004 in the Kona Mayor's, and
Wednesday, March 10, 2004 in the Election's Conference Room in the County
E3uilding in Hilo, both beginning at 8:00 a.m. The role of the HS&EDC Chair and
support staff in the nonprofit grant review process is delineated.
