DENISE L. COWDREY AND MR. JACK MATSUI TO THE COUNTY OF HAWAII MAYOR'S COMMITTEE ON PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES From Mayor Harry Kim, dated January 13, 2004, informing that he has appointed the following individuals to the County of Hawaii Mayor's Committee on People with Disabilities: Ms. Denise L. Cowdrey is a five-year resident of I lawai'i, and currently a program specialist with the Goodwill Industries of Hawaii. She states that she is a member of the Republican Party, and will serve a term coterminous with the Mayor's. Mr. Jack Matsui is an 80-year resident of Hawaii and is currently retired. He states that he is not affiliated with any political party. and will serve a term coterminous with the Mayor's. (Note: These appoinlmenls do no! require Council conJirmalion.) P&EMG 15 Page 2 February 3. 2004 Comm. 467: PRESENTATION ON GASIFICATION AS AN ALTERNATIVE FORM OF SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT From Parks & Environmental Management Committee Chairman Joseph Reynolds, dated .lanuary 20, 2004, informing that he has scheduled a presentation by Ron Menville, Vice President, and Paul Alford, Project Manager, of Brightstar Environmental, to discuss gasification as an alternative form of Solid Waste Management at his February 3, 2004 meeting. STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC/ADJOURNMENT The meeting place is accessible for persons with physical disabilities.
