Re: Operating Budget
Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating funds
from the Vehicle Disposal Fund's fund balance account into the Vehicle & Parts Disposal
OCE account. One of the Department of Environmental Management's top priorities is to
clean up the scrap metal yards in Hilo and Kealakehe. Much progress has been made and
in order to continue with their aggressive schedule to clean up those yards, they wish to
utilize all monies available in the Vehicle Disposal Fund.
If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to call the Department of Environmental
Management.
