Dear Councilmembers,
The currant proposal to rezone Clifto's Ooma
property is not only sheer madness, but mindless
suicide.
As if traffic problems were not bad enough
already, imagine bumper to bumper traffic from
five miles north of the airport all the way to town
and beyond.
Word will get out, as it always does, most likely
sooner rather than later, to prospective tourists
from the mainland that Kona is an undesirable
vacation destination.
Ond, oh yes, by the way, it would considerably
cheapen the lives and properties of so many people
in Kalaoa who have invested so much of their lives
in this part of Hawaii.
