Thank you for your email. I was off island last week and didn't get to my
mail until today. Unfortunately, I do not get to pick my replacement
either for the committee or my district. That will be up to the remaining
members of the Council. If you have not done so already, you should contact
the other councilmembers with your suggestion. I have already received
several emails of a similar nature. The longer I have served on the
council, the more I have come to appreciate Curtis. Curtis always does his
homework and keeps everyone on their toes. I will miss my lunches with
him.

with your dedication and hard work. You will be missed.
In your absence, I hope that you will consider appointing Curtis Tyler as
the
new Chairperson. Having worked hand-in-hand with him for the past years,
you
know that if anything, Curtis is a planner. He reads, he asks questions and
he
is not indecisive.
