Dear Mr. Arakaki and other Councilmembers,
I am writing to urge you to elect Curtis Tyler as chair of the Planning
Committee. As vice-chair of this committee, Tyler has done a good job and
become familiar with all the issues involved in the planning process. He is
clearly the best candidate for the job.
Also, as vice-chair he is clearly "in line" for the position. If you were
to vote for a different candidate, it would certainly be seen by me and
others here as another slap in the face for residents of West Hawaii.
Please do the right thing.
