Subject: Tyler for Planning Chair
The time is now to appoint Curtis Tyler as chair of Hawaii County's Committee on Planning. Why?
* Curtis has 6 years as vice chair of the committee.
* West Hawaii is long overdue to have a council member as chair of this important committee.
* Planning has always been Curtis' strength, and he has intimate knowledge from around the world about new
approaches.
* Our General Plan should have been adopted years ago, and Curtis will see it to completion.
* He is one of the most respected voices on the Council and in a position to influence his colleagues.
His own words say it all: Here in Hawaii County, we have not planned to fail, we have failed to plan!
So contact your council person and be sure that the 5 council votes required to determine Bobby Jean Leithead-
Todd's replacement are there. If you care about Hawaii Island, act to obtain change.
