with her office. States her office's inability to
reach them have frustrated their abilities to comply
with the requirements of Chapter 343, Hawaii Revised
Statutes, relating to Environmental Impact Statements,
and that they will be informing the Office of
Environmental Quality Control that their office will no
longer attempt to comply with the requirements of
Chapter 343, HRS, for the proposed development.

1993, transmitting a resolution for consideration by
the Hawaii State Association of Counties (HSAC) a bill
relating to geothermal resources for inclusion in the
1993 HSAC Legislative Package.

(Res. 97) FOR THE COUNTY TO DETERMINE AND RECOMMEND SUITABLE
SITES FOR MARINA DEVELOPMENT, INCLUDING BOAT LAUNCH
RAMPS DRY-STACK BOAT STORAGE AND RELATED FACILITIES
From Councilman Jim Rath, dated August 11, 1993,
transmitting a resolution requesting that the State's
Office of State Planning, the Department of Land and
Natural Resources-Division of Boating and Ocean
Recreation and the Department of Transportation conduct
a study for the County to determine and recommend
suitable sites for marina development, including boat
launch ramps, dry-stack boat storage and other related
facilities.
