Re: Resolution for multi-year lease
Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the payment of funds for more than one fiscal year
for a copy machine for the Department of Parks and Recreation's Elderly Activities
Division -Nutrition Program. Their copy machine currently being used is over 13 years
old and is considered obsolete by the company that provides the maintenance. Also,
the repair technician has said that replacement parts may no longer be available for
fixing the machine.
If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to call the Department of Parks and
Recreation.

A. REQUEST:
To be abSe to enter into a five-year lease agreement fora copier that wi11 be used
by the staff.
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
Our current copier is Z3 years old and is considered obsolete by the company that
provides maintenance. We have been informed by the technician that replacement parts
may no longer be available for fixing the machine and he recommended that we replace
the unit with a new one.
