Re: Resolution Accepting Donation
Enclosed is a resolution accepting a donation of two (2) Zoll AED Plus Automated
External Defibrillators for the Department of Parks and Recreation's Aquatics Division.
This donation is being made by the American Heart Association of Hawaii and the
Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation, Inc., 245 N. Kukui Street, Suite 204,
Honolulu, Hawaii 96817-3985 and has a total value of $4,400.00.

A. REQUEST:
To accept and acknowledge a donation of two Zoll AED Plus Automated External Defribrillators for the
Department of Parks and Recreation, Aquatics Division.
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
Council action is being requested to accept and acknowledge a donation by the American Heart Association
of Hawaii and the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation, Inc of two AED units (Zoll AED Plus). They will
be used at the Kawamoto Swim Stadium and Kona Community Aquatic Center for emergency response to
cardiac arrest.
