RF,: Resolution Requesting State and County Administrations to Finalize Planning,
Design and to Begin Construction of Roads and Highways in the South Kohala,
North Kona and South Kona Districts and to Finalize Regional Plans with
Infrastructure Financing Mechanisms
phis is to transmit a resolution directed to the state and county administrations to expedite
construction of roads and highways in the South Kohala, North Kona and South Kona Districts
and to finalize regional plans with infrastructure financing mechanisms.
Short of calling for a moratorium to halt building permits in West Hawaii, I would like to tirst
propose a statement of policy direction that places priority on road construction and meaningful
inii~astructure plans with tinancing mechanisms. [would like to believe the combined voices of
local elected officials and our citizens can influence change.
