Dear Chairman Arakaki and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Mr. David B. Games of Council District 9 to the
County of Hawaii Pension Board. Mr. Games is a 50-year resident of Hawaii and
is aself-employed carpenter/handyman. Mr. Games is active in his community,
and serves as a board member for the Waimea Community Theatre, does
maintenance for the Imiola Congregational Church, where he served as a trustee
and a deacon. He is an American Red Cross Volunteer, and has served as an
officer of the Waimea Community Association and as an election official for the
past three elections. If confirmed, Mr. Games will serve a term to end on
December 31, 2008. He will replace Ms. Beatrice Lau, whose term has expired.
