Re: Capital Budget
Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance adding the Prosecuting Attorney's Office at Aupuni
Center project for $3,450,000 to the Capital Budget. This appropriation will be for the
design and construction of offices at Aupuni Center for the Prosecuting Attorney and his
staff. The existing Prosecuting Attorney's office, located at the Old Memorial Hospital on
Waianuenue Avenue, is in a building that needs extensive repairs. Relocating the Office of
the Prosecuting Attorney to Aupuni Center will eliminate the extensive costs to renovate
the existing building.
If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to call the Department of Public Works.

B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
The existing Prosecuting Attorney's Office is in a building that will require extensive repairs, and its present
