SUBJECT: Approval of an Appropriation Ordinance to Amend
Ordinance No. 03-91 for the 2003 Workforce Investment
Act Program.
The Office of Housing and Community Development (OHCD) submitted
an Ordinance to Amend Ordinance No. 03-91, as Amended, the
Operating Budget for the County of Hawaii for Fiscal Year Ending
June 30, 2004, for the Workforce Investment Act Program.
The Hawaii County Housing Agency reviewed and approved the
ordinance at its meeting on February 18, 2004, and voted as
follows:
AYES: J. Arakaki, L. Elarionoff, B. Jacobson,
J. Reynolds, M. Tulang, J. Tyler,
G. Safarik - 7
NOES: None
ABSENT AND EXCUSED: A. Chung, F. Holschuh - 2
Accordingly, I am requesting that this appropriation ordinance be
included on the Council agenda for action at its March 5, 2004,
meeting.
