Purpose of Grant: for the purchase of specialized equipment to
enhance the capability of state and county agencies to prevent and
respond to incidents of domestic terrorism involving chemical and
biological, nuclear or explosive weapons. Also for the protection of critical
infrastructure and prevention of terrorist incidents; costs related to the
design, development, conduct and evaluation of a training program and
costs associated with the implementation of Homeland Security Strategy.
