It is my pleasure to nominate Christian K. Alameda of Council District 2, to tfre Couzxby of
Hawaii Planning Commission. Mr. Alameda is a lifelong resident of Hawaii and is
employed by the State of Hawaii Department of Health, as a Behavioral Specialist and
Consultant. He has been a project coordinator for Homeless Solutions and is a current
member of Hui Aloha. Mr. Alameda states that he is not affiliated with any political party
and if confirmed, will serve a term to expire on December 31, 2008. He will replace
Ms. Florence Kubota, whose term expired on December 31, 2003.
