After thinking about the Public Works and Intergovernmental Relations Committee's discussion, the following amendments to Draft 2 have been made so as not to confuse the reader and to place a date for finalizing the regional transportation plans. The financing implementation program should be contained in the capital projects budget and program to have any meaningful impact. The following amendments are proposed: To the 2"d WHEREAS: Dees. Dote MAR R 700L WHEREAS to implement these Transportation goals and policies the General Plan lists numerous courses of action for the districts of South Kohala, North Kona and South Kona which have been altered or have not been completed over the years; and To the 2"d RESOLVED: BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that it requests the County and State administrations to finalize appropriate regional transportation plans for the South Kohala, North Kona and South Kona District areas with a corresponding financing implementation program by May 5 2004 in conjunction with the County's capital budget and program and fair share assessment report as reauired by Section 10-6(c) Hawai'i County Charter, and Section 2-162, Hawaii County Code.
