Subject: Request to Withdraw Verizon of Hawaii Inc. Applications For
Bill 210, To Amend State Land Use Designation &
Bi11211, To Amend County Zoning for
Tax Map Key 3/7-4-08:20, Kailua-Kona, Hawaii
Regarding the referenced property, this letter provides formal notice that Verizon Hawaii Inc. (Verizon) is
withdrawing the following applications from County of Hawaii and County Council consideration.
1. Application to change the State of Hawaii Land Use designation from Agriculture to Urban.
2. Application to change County of Hawaii zoning from A-la to CV-l0.
Since Bills 210 & 211 are on the Mazch 5, 2004 County Council agenda and because Verizon no longer
wishes to pursue the SLU and zone change we respectfully ask that these two items be removed from the
agenda.
