I have recently bamsd that Bill 230 has been introduced to IimN the speed on Kaloko
Drive to 36 MPH on tfts sntka stretch of roadway.
While many psopk far sxoesd the safe driving limits on all our roadways, Kaloko Is of a

I am opposed to this change but suggest instead that tM coundl consider many other
important Issues ignored for many years. Sines vwr ors diswssing traffic, bt's look at
the ingress and egress problem from Kaloko Drive to Puaiani. Our trsffk: is backed up

SNms we have this fund for improvement of our aaess that has been gathering dual
for years.
And, while Pualani Driw is a major probem for ell of us, why not consider taking time
and money to improve and add turn pockets. A roal turn podrot northbound at tits
Ksalakehs would certainly be helpful. Try petting from Hine 4anl on a IaR nand turn at
4:00 in the aftamoon to get home to Kaloko and then drhro 35 MPH up tha hill.
Akhough &11 230 is well intended, pbaae conekfer other fixes so badly needed on this
side at would better use our tax money (induding your time).
