SUBJECT: Bill 224, Draft 2 - An Ordinance Amending Chapter 24 of the Hawaii
County Code 1983 (1995 edition) Relating to Vehicles and Traffic
Attached for your favorable consideration is Bill 224, Draft 2, of proposed Ordinance
Amending Chapter 24 of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (1995 edition) Relating to
Vehicles and Traffic.
Your Committee amended Bill No. 224 to provide a time limit nn freight loading within
the freight loading zone to include only the hours of 4:00 am to 1030 am Monday
through Saturday, excluding Sundays and holidays.
The following Section 1. was changed as follows:
Section 1. Chapter 24, article 10, division 6, section24-288, schedule 36 (freight
loading zones), subsection (f) Kona, of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (1995 edition), is
amended by adding the following to he appropriately numbered and to read as follows:
Ali'i Drive west side from a point three hundred-twenty feet south of
Hualalai Road and extending sixty feet in the southerly direction from 490 a.m_. to__10:30
