Regarding A Constitutional Amendment For Locally Elected School Eoards
Please find attached Resolution No. 171, Draft 2 regarding the above matter. As approved at the
Council meeting held March 17, 2004 the following language is included in this latest draft:
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that Clerk of the County of Hawaii is hereby instructed
to transmit copies of this resolution to the Governor of the State of Hawaii, the Speaker
of the Hawaii State House of Representatives, the President of the Hawaii State Senate,
Hawaii Island State Legislators and all County Councils in the State ofHawai `i.
