Subject: KeoKeo Street Barricade
We are John and Jean Tremblay, registered voters and residents of the County of Hav~h~iry(re : ;i.i~.r~ll
opposed to the removal of the KeoKeo street barricade for the following reasons:
1. There are significant legal problems to be ironed out before the connection of Holu street can be made
to KeoKeo street. It is even possible that the residents in the KeoKeo community should elect to take
legal action to prevent the barricade removal.
2. The cost of bringing into compliance that portion of Holu street.
3. the intersection of KeoKeo street and Kaiminani drive is unsafe because of the obstructed visibility
caused by a fast rising slope on Kaiminani drive on the makai side and a very bright sun, at times on the
mauka side.
It is suggested that the alternate connector HoloHolo to Nana is a much preferable and safer alternative.
We request your cazeful consideration of this project.
