SUBJECT Kawailani Bridge Replacement
Federal Aid Project No. BR 2760(003)
Property Acquisition
The exisitng dwellings on TMK 2-4-63:121 and TMK 2-4-63:120 will still conform to the
setback requirements as per Section 25-5-7 of the Hawaii County Code after the required portion
of the properties have been acquired by the County for purposes of constructing the Kawailani
Street bridge project. The new setback line may however, affect the construction of new
structures and/or new extensions of the existing structures. This has been fully explained and
acknowledged by the owners of both parcels. There are no setback issues for TMK 2-4-3:22 as
there aze no existing structures and the pazcel is approximately 40 acres in size.
