Dear Chairman Arakaki and Council Members,
in accordance with requirements of Section 13-12 of the Hawaii
County Charter, we request Council's approval to receive:
Weightlifting Equipment consisting of
fourteen 45-1b plates,
four 25-1b plates, and
ten 10-1b plates
to be donated by Hope Chapel of Kailua-Kona. The retail value
of these items is $830.00.
The Chaplain of Hope Chapel is Sonny Shimaoka of 75-5656 Kuakini
Highway, Suite 202, Kailua-Kona, Hawaii 96740.
This generous donation will be added to the exercise equipment
in the Exercise Room located at the Kona Police Station to
enhance the physical conditioning of the police officers in the
Kona District.
