Re: Pulp Eucalyptus Plantations
Dear Dominic:
We recently discussed the "OJI letters of intent", and the intent of the "Friends of
Hamakua" to contact all Council Members to discuss with them the objections concerned
citizens have. Following your recommendation we herewith formally request to be placed
on the Agenda of the Finance Committee. Time is of the essence ! Since the "OJI letter
of intent" to the County of Hawaii demands a response by May 27, 1997, we suggest that
this discussion be scheduled at the County Council's earliest convenience, but not later
than May 9, 1997.
Please inform me as soon as possible of the scheduled date and time.
