BALLARD, NORMAN BEZONA, LESLEY HILL, MICHAEL KRAUS AND DAVID TAMURA From Mayor Stephen K. Yamashiro, dated April 21, 1993, informing he has appointed the following to the Arborist Advisory Committee, to serve co-terminous with his tenure, December 2, 1996: Elizabeth A. Ballard of Kamuela Norman Bezona of Kona Lesley Hill of Hilo Michael Kraus of Puna David Tamura of Hilo. The Planning Director or her designee will also be a part of this six-member committee. Comm. 350: STATE LAND USE BOUNDARY AMENDMENT ORD. NO. 92-35 (SLU 811), CHANGE OF ZONE ORDINANCE NO. 92-36 APPLICANT: HUALALAI PROPERTIES TAX MAP KEY: 7-5-10:13(POR) AND 7- -2'x•63 Copy of letter to Steven S.C. Lim, Esq., Case & Lynch, from Planning Director Virginia Goldstein, dated April 22, 1993, informing of the receipt of a memorandum from the Department of Parks and Recreation (attached), dated April 5, 1993, accepting Hualalai Properties' appraisal methodology on its rezoning Ordinance 92-36 and recommending an in-lieu monetary fee of $101,814.62 based on this appraisal. Informs, PC-11 Page 2 May 17, 1993 Comm. 350: as required by Condition K of Ordinance No. 92-36, the (Cont'd) in-lieu monetary fee will be contributed to the County as set forth in Sections 8-6, 8-7 and 8-8 of the Park Dedication Code of the Hawaii County Code. Condition K will be deemed complied with upon submittal and acceptance of the monetary fee by the Planning Department. Comm. 351: HAMAKUA ISSUE Copy of letter to Councilman Brian De Lima, from Henry Ross, dated April 20, 1993, informing that he has filed another order (Case 92-93), regarding the Hamakua issue and requests it be placed on the agenda so he can address it. Comm. 361: EXTENSION OF TIME REQUEST CHANGE OF ZONE ORDINANCE NO. 89-112 AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 92-25 APPLICANT: HIROMU YAMANAKA REALTY, INC. RS-10 TO CV-7.5 TAX MAP KEY: 7-9-07: PORTION OF 30 Copy of letter to Hiromu Yamanaka, President, Hiromu Yamanaka Realty, Inc., from Planning Director Virginia Goldstein, dated April 29, 1993, acknowledging receipt of his letter requesting an extension of time in which to comply with Condition B (secure Final Plan Approval) of Change of Zone Ordinance No. 89-112, as amended by Ordinance No. 92-25. TAX MAP KEY: 7-5-17: 28 AND 29 Copy of letter to Steven S. C. Lim, Esq., Case and Lynch, from Planning Director Virginia Goldstein, dated April 27, 1993, acknowledging receipt of his letters containing Pualani Estates, Inc.'s annual progress report in compliance with Condition P, and requesting that an extension of time to the conditions of approval of Change of Zone Ordinance No. 90-63 be scheduled before the Planning Commission for a public hearing. Informs, as requested, the time extension request will once again be activated for processing and he will be notified of the hearing. Comm. 369: ORDINANCE BILL AMENDING SECTION 25-103 (PUNA DISTRICT (Bill 79) ZONE MAP) ARTICLE 3, CHAPTER 25 (ZONING CODE) OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE, BY CHANGING THE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION FROM OPEN (O) TO AGRICULTURAL (A-la) APPLICANT: HAWAII COUNTY ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY COUNCIL WAIAKAHIULA, PUNA - APPROXIMATELY 2.21 ACRES TAX MAP KEY: 1-5-67:PORTION OF 35 From Planning Commission Chairman Donald L. Manalili, dated May 4, 1993, submitting a bill to change the district classification for approximately 2.21 acres of land from the Open (O) to Agricultural 1-acre (A-la) designation for lands located at the northwest (mauka- Hamakua) corner of the Puni Makai-Moans Street intersection within the County park in the Hawaiian Beaches Subdivision, Waiakahiula, Puna.
