Everyone who knows how you operate , I don't have to point out that the system is
flawed. How is it possible when the people that you are supposed to represent
completely oppose projects.
And yet you vote to approve, even though they bad for our community, bad for the future
and the saddest part demonstrating to the young people that the process is hopelessly
unable to help provide for a better well planned future.
I feel shamed and sorry for you to have an opportunity to do something good for Hawaii
and the future generations, but your decisions are based on monies generated from these
projects.
You have no group to answer to that is affected by your decisions. We in Kona can't
vote you out .
You have your own constituents that aze benefiting from your choice.
'I'bis is not a good system of checks and balances.
I am contacting several news groups statewide and nationwide because there is a sad
story here. Perhaps putting some sunlight on the subject will give everyone a better
perspective on what is really taking place.
This is not something that newcomers have generated. The local people bom and raised
here are also completely opposed. Look at the signatures and statements.
Please reach inside and vote for what will be best for the current citizens and the future.
Show that you are responsive and caring for the people in Hawaii County. Don't let
teenage peer pressure force you to vote against what is right ..you will sleep better at
night.
