(Bill 264) RELATING TO PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS AND FINANCING THEREOF FOR T}iE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 2003 TO .TUNE 30, 2004 (adds the Pualani Estates Subdivision Playground Development project in Puapuaaiki 1 and Puapuaanui 1 North Kona, for $100 000) From Einance Director William Takaba, dated April 21.2004, transmitting the above bill. A park will be constructed in the Pualani Estates Subdivision to help fulfill the recreational needs of the community residents. Although playground equipment was not part of the requirements of the subdivision agreement. the Department of Parks and Recreation would like to support the installation of a children's playground by utilizing fair share assessment funding for this purpose. Resolution 129-03 directed the Director of Environmental Management to prepare for submission to the Council a broad regional sewerage master plan for the region north of Kealakehe and a specific detailed implementation plan for an improvement district. This appropriation will be used to conduct this study. Comm. 567: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 03-90. AS AMENDED. (Bill 251) RELA"LING TO PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS AND FINANCING THEREOF FOR I'1IE FISCAL YF,AR JULY 1, 2003 TO JUNE 30, 2004 (by adding the Puainako Improvement District Proiect for $100 000) From Finance Director William Takaba, dated March 23, 2004, transmitting the above bill. The County Council recently adopted Res. 157-04, which directed the Director of Environmental Management to prepare for submission to the Council a broad regional sewerage master plan for the Waiakea region and a specific detailed implementation plan for an improvement district.
