Hope this letter finds you an those in your life well an
happy.
We listen to you the other day on the radio about your
view on this tree operation. Your views our on target. As
I inform your secretary this day of my views on this matter.
I did tell her I would send my letter to you in hopes it
well be of help. My family has for many years has inter-
graded both timber an farming to help insure a steady income.
We have found over many years of this that the two work
VERY well toq~ther. If we had gone only one way we would
have lost out on the many wonderfull opportunity that have
come about. In what you our trying to do makes more sense
in allowing one to cover all the basesso as NOT to find
ones self in a bind as the years go by. The key thing is
to try an keep opportunity coming up in this way you can
handle the down side to life much better. An there our times
that things will NOT go well. In what you our trying to do
shows to us the public you care, about us an the future
of the people an of this Island. More than some of the others
