Plan to Protect Kona is opposed to Clifto's latest plan to develop their
property at O~oma and ask you to vote against it. We are in good
company, judging from the overwhelming public testimony against the
project at the January 23, 20D4 hearings at the Ohana Keauhou Beach
Hotel.
From the stand point of traffic problems, ocean pollution, noise, loss
of natural view-plane, Kona would be better off without the project.
This is true whatever jobs, tax revenue or other economic and
recreational benefits might eventually accrue from the deuelopment.
If the plan is not killed at the first reading or deferred on Rpril 21st,
we ask that the final decision-making hearing on this project be in
Kona
