County Council:
I am writing in support of the Endangered Species on our island. There are
proposals, 198 and 199, Nani Kona Aina, that would destroy the area where both
the golden I'o and Hawaiian Hoary Bat are known to live. There is precious little
environment for these animals as it is. They are surviving by a thread at this time.
Please, please do not let these proposals pass. Your vote is very important in saving
this small area that is critical to the survival of these animals.
I wish you the best and hope you will consider my concerns.
