Dear Sir;
We are writing to encourage you to support Bill 270 which would set aside 1 % of the property tax
revenues each year for the purchase of land for protection of historic areas, recreational use areas for all
our citizens and tourists as well as preserving forever Hawaii's lands of natural beauty We feel this bill
is good for Hawaii. It will improve the quality of life for local residents and enhance local businesses
and jobs which depend upon tourism.
By your support, you and the Council will allow the voice of the residents of the County of Hawaii to
be heard through the election process.
