RE: Resolution Authorizing the Acquisition of Land by Exercise of Eminent Domain
or Negotiation for the Puna Emergency Access Road in the Ainaloa Subdivision
and in the Hawaiian Acres Subdivision, District of Puna, County of Hawaii
Enclosed for your favorable consideration is a proposed Resolution authorizing the
acquisition of land by exercise of eminent domain or negotiation for the Puna Emergency Access
Road in the Ainaloa Subdivison and in the Hawaiian Acres Subdivision.
This Resolution will replace a pending Ainaloa Subdivision Resolution (Resolution 217-
02) and the Hawaiian Acres Resolution (Resolution 194-04 which was deferred on May 18,
2004) and will be heard at the Public Works and Intergovernmental Relations Committee
meeting on June 1, 2004.
