Re: Support of Bill 270
Aloha Chairman Arakaki and Council Members:
We write you today, in support of Bill 270, to be heard and discussed on May 18`h, 2004. We
applaud the County Council's endeavors at establishing a means of caring for and protecting
more of our island home's precious natural and cultural resources. The lessons of the past
lead us to understand that such a measure as outlined in Bill 270 will provide our island
community with one more tool to ensure that we leave a rich, island based legacy, to the
future.
We humbly urge the County Council to unanimously pass Bill 270 out of the Finance
Committee to its final passage.
