RE: Amended Capital Budget, Part 11, 2004-OS
For your consideration, I wish to point out that the following CIP projects will lapse effective
June 30, 2004 and are not shown in the current capital budget. All of these capital projects are of
the utmost importance. and
Therefore, I request the Council to reappropriate these projects as shown below.
Allotted/unencumbered/unspent
5396.27 Palani Road Safety Improvements $ 1,154,100
5296.61 Kalaoa Fire Station $ 1,691,100
Lapsed Appropriations
5390.24 Puna Makai Alternate Route Study $ 250,000 Never allotted
5299.37 FEMA Flood Studies for County $ 1,000,000 Never allotted
