I pointed out that since the Legislative Auditor's Report had never been officially debated by the committee, our own report'THE PRICE OF VISIBILITY-PART 3" can hardly be introduced and discussed at any meeting. After discussion we have agreed on the following. After the police commission meeting on July 16, 2004. when hopefully they will support the project the Finance committee or the County Council will introduce a resolution regarding a move to the plan we have suggested, which is the introduction of a marked car fleet over a five year period. This of course will have to be voted on and could be voted down but it will clear the present "mid-air situation" and is basically what WHCS has desired from the start. We believe there is enough information available and hopefully the council members have studied the reports they have had for some time, and can make a decision one way or the other. Comments?
