Council Members,
After the Planning Commission and the Planning Committee both failed to approve this project. We wonder
why the Council would do any differently, Along lint of benefits proposed by the developers appear to
benefit them much more than the community. Over the past two decades while there has been no additional
roads built, there hes been a substantial increase in a number of homos and cars. The General Plan does
call for urbanisation, however it should also call for the required infrastructure. 1Jnti1 an additional North !
South road is more than a dream, there should be no more re-canes allowed. in addition, with all of the
building on this hillside, there needs to be a better Mauka - Mekia road built. One that is built to collector
road standardq and not a residemal road being used as a collector road. Nani Kailtta Dr, was not built to
collector road standards, but is being forced to be used as the main collector road. Which you keep forcing
more cars onto.
We would appreciate your support in fuming down this project at this time until more roads can be built
to support the re-zones you have already approved in the last two years in this area. 43 more lots is not
going to make our spcedir,g problem arty better, it is only going to add to the problem.
