Please share this letter with your County Council colleagues.
My husband and I have lived in Kona for ten years, and expect to make it our
home for years to come. We very much care about the appearance of this island.
We urge you to approve the Revised Sign Code that will be presented to the Public
Works and Intergovernmental Relations Committee on Junc 1. Although I Suspect
it is not a perfect code, it provides for easier enforcement and is more fair to
everybody in providing a good means for merchants to announce their presence in
a reasonably tasteful manner.
Let's work together to provide fairness and increase the beauty of the island.
I urge the entire Committee to please pass this Revised Sign Codel Let's get on
with making a difference!
