Hilo, Hi 96720
Dear Mr. Safarik
The Board of Directors of Destination Kona Coast is endorsing
the Revised Sign Code.
Signage on this island 8e in particular the village of
Kailua-Kona, has become a disgrace. At Destination Kona Coast
we work very hard to make sure that visitors enjoy a safe 8e
pleasant experience. We are expecting many more visitors,
especially cruise passengers in the coming years. Illegal signs
are unsafe, impede pedestrians 8e are not visually inviting.
Destination Kona Coast's mission is to ensure that every
visitor has a positive experience while visiting our island.

Please pass the Revised Sign Code so that once 8e for all we
can guarantee proper signage for the Big Island.
Sincerely,
Richard Farnham, President
Destination Kona Coast
