RE: Revised Sign Code
As Big Island residents we support the Revised Sign Code that is to be
presented to the Public Works and Intergovernmental Relations Committee
on Tuesday, June 1st. It is important for The Big Island to keep billboard
free to maintain the beautiful island paradise that it is and not let it become a
junkyard of billboards and sandwich boards hawking businesses. The Big
Island is one of the most sought after vacation destinations because it is lush,
green, quaintly Hawaiian and billboard free.
