Aga1~, as the march of bulldozers scours the landscape of our Ixland, this county is left with no viable mechanism in place for setting asitle open, wild, natural lands for their perpetual protection. Despite the fact that I strongly support a 2% Set-aside (no possible diversions for nebulous other uses written In), docpita the huge endorsement by residents for this type of plan, and despite the fine homework sane by members of Trust for Public Lands to make this a win-win for everyone involved, the majority of council memberr~ leave left their constituents -again -with far less than they desire and deserve. You have left us cven without thr, ability to decide whether or not we believe that this reserve of funds should be available to protect our natural futtue, I look forward to the revisiting of this bill. Il is far from dead, since ks need is so greet. Mahalo to those who voted in Its support. Sincerely, Janice Palma-Glennie , Comm. No._,~~, Ref. i:ara JUN TO 3rJtid OWN L69S9ZE ST:OT 600L/L0/90
