KODAMA, SITUATE AT WAIAKEA, DISTRICT OF SOUTH HILO, COUNTY AND STATE OF HAWAl`I, BEARING TAX MAP KEY (3) 2-4-003:074 (POR.), TO THE COUNTY OF HAWAII. WHEREAS, Gerald Kodama is the owner of road right-of--way approximately 15,768 square feet for the Kikaha Street Extension located in the District of South Hilo, County and State of Hawaii, specifically identified as Tax Map Key (3) 2-4-003:074 (por.). being more particularly described in the attached deed and delineated on Exhibit "B" attached hereto; and WHEREAS, Gerald Kodama is desirous of dedicating the subject parcel, including all subdivision improvements thereon, to the County of Hawaii for road and drainage purposes, and the improvements have been inspected and approved by the County of Hawaii Department of Public Works, Department of Water Supply and the Planning Department; and WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section ] 3-12 of the Hawaii County Charter provides that the Council, on behalf of the County of Hawaii, may accept gifts which include the dedication of land on behalf of the County of Hawaii. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, that in accordance with Article Xlll, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, and Sections 23-10 and 23-1 1 of the Hawaii County Code, that the County of Hawaii accepts the real property in the attached dedication deed (Exhibit "A") and more specifically identified as Tax Map Key (3) 2-4-003:074 (por.), consisting of approximately 15,768 square feet.
