Re: Bi11237 (Drafr 4) -The Operating Budget
Dear Chairman Arakaki and Mister Konishi:
I am returning Bi11237 (Draft 4) to take effect without my signature. I am extremely
concerned that the funding for staffing and equipment for the proposed Sort Station was
removed by the Council, and cannot approve the budget for that reason. I am committed to
continue to work with the Council on the County's overall solid waste program.
I will be forwarding further information to you, giving details of my concerns.
