Streets
Welton Rezone - Condition R of Ordinance 03-37
Dear Mr. Safarik and Committee Members,
Please make permanent the 4 way stop at Nani Kailas and Kaklina
Streets, Kailua View Estates subdivision. It would be even better to install
additional 4 way stop signs at Melelina Street, another 3 blocks mauka from
Kakalina on Nani Kailua Drive. At issue is the moderation of traffic flow in
and out of the Nani Kailua corridor, and the future pressures that will result
from new development. This low cost preventive measure will have positive
impact on the surrounding community, and help to preserve the peace and
serenity of the neighborhood.
