the Committee meeting on 8114, to all Council Members.
Dear County Council Memebers,
We are In favor of keeping the 4 way stop sign permanent.
We have deSnitely noticed a slowing of vehicles traveling on Nani Kailas Dr. since the placing of
the stop'sign. Please remember that children play in the area end the school bus makes several
stops to board end let ot2'children.
If some of the residents of Kona Heights are using Aloha Kona Dr. to avoid the stop sign--so be
it. I feel they should use their own neighborhood streets.
Also. If Na1v Kona Aine is approved (as my "coconut wireless" says) and we hope not, I have
heard a condition will be proposed by one or more county councilor to have a permanent 4 way
stop sign at Nani Kailua Dr. and Melelina St. If this is the case, than it makes NO sense to
remove the one we already have.
