I wish to state my support for Communication 647, Bill 280 to establish a Business Improvement District for
Kailas-Kona. This bill wi[I provide a framework for the businesses of Kailas-Kona to come together with
one voice to diroct the present and future structure of this town. Other positive results from this step will
generate ~ more positive district idernity, private sector accountability, decrease commercial vacancies,
increase new business successes and provide new jobs.
I urge you to pass this importaut Bill so that Kailua-Kona can move forward with a sound structural
framework with which to make decisions.
Your favorable consideration to this Biil is greatly appreciated.
