ORDINANCE 03-37, CONDITION R, STATING THAT THE APPLICANT
SHALL PROVIDE AFOUR-WAY STOP CONDITION AT THE NANI
KAILUA/KAKALINA STREET INTERSECTION UNDER THF, GUIDANCE OF
A LICENSED ENGINEER WITHIN 90 DAYS FROM THE F.,FFEC'fIVE DATE OF

Comm. 649: From Dan Olson, Kona Traffic Safety Committee, dated June 1, 2004, providing
comments, as requested, on the Nani Kailua Drive 4-Way Stop. States their
committee supports retaining the signs as now installed and states that although the
consultant reports that signs are not "warranted" by the normal engineering systems
and guidelines, it should be noted that deviations from the guidelines can be granted
by the County authority having jurisdiction.
