RESOLUTION AUTliORI~IfVC~ THE PAYIVIE3VT OF FllN®S OF A LATER FISCAL YEAR
AN® OF MORE THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR FOR A MULTI-YEAR LEASE FOR A COPIER
WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the County Charter requires that any contract, lease or other obligation
requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a later fiscal year or of more than one fiscal year be
approved by resolution; and
WHEREAS, the County of blawai`i wishes to enter into amulti-year lease agreement for three (3) years
for one (1) copier for the Department of Parks and Recreation's Elderly Activities Division; and
WHEREAS, the current copier, which has been problematic, will have its lease expiring soon and the
division wishes to enter into another lease of a new medium volume copier; and
WHEREAS, acquisition of this copier should increase the productivity and efficiency of the division.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE iT RESOLI/ED f3Y THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a three (3) year lease agreement of a copier for
the Department of Parks and Recreation's Elderly Activities Division.
2. That sufficient funds be budgeted in future fiscal years to cover the anticipated obligations of the
County under the terms of the agreement.
