Re: Dedication Deed -Gerald T. Kodama, TMK (3) 2-4-003:074 (Por.)
Enclosed for your consideration is draft 2 of the resolution for the dedication of real
property from Gerald T. Kodama, together with the enclosures listed in item no. 2. The changes
are:
1) Insertion of two WHEREAS clauses as follows:
WHEREAS, Section 23-10 of the Hawaii County Code prohibits
the Council from receiving by dedication any streets in any subdivision
platted after December 2, 1966 except upon full compliance with the
provisions of Chapter 23; and
WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County
Charter provides that the Council, on behalf of the County of Hawaii,
may accept gifts which include the dedication of land on behalf
of the County of Hawaii.
2) Inspection and approval letters from the Engineering Division dated October 1,
2003, and the Traffic Division dated September 30, 2003.

All items on the pre-final punch list dated Sept. 22, 2003 were completed. We
have no additional items for correction.
The construction of the subdivision was completed satisfactory.
