Chair Arakaki 8 Council Members:
We are in opposition of Bill No. 270. Introducing Bill No. 270 as an
amendment to the Hawaii County Charter would have a negative impact
on the county's bonding amount available for construction projects. We
do support a number of the intended purposes mentioned in section 10-
12.2, however not by means of an amendment to the Hawaii County
Charter.
